Our Summer Arts Teen Classes are for all high school students (entering or emerging from grades 9-12) who wish to explore art concepts, materials, and techniques in a creative art school environment, or those who are developing their college application portfolios.
Please note: Supervised lunch is available to students enrolled in both morning and afternoon
classes in the same week.

Responsible, reliable, and energetic applicants currently enrolled in high school (grades 9-12) or college are invited to apply for School Assistantships year round. Danforth Art School Assistants gain experience in all aspects of Danforth Art School, assisting with overall program facilitation during regular art school sessions (Fall, Winter, Spring) for all ages, School Vacation Week Workshops for children and teens, and Summer Arts, our highly popular summer art classes for children and teens. Opportunities to assist in the studios include preparation of materials and classroom spaces, organization of supplies, and support for teachers. Download Art Assistantship Application (PDF). Please note: Due to our absence of museum galleries, the Teen Docent program has been indefinitely suspended.
