The Danforth Museum and School of Art’ provides over 100 classes and workshops each quarter with over 50 part-time teaching artists who are dedicated to the creative process. The facilities, located on two floors of the museum building, include 8 sunny art studios, two ceramics rooms, a kiln room, a photo lab, a weaving studio, two student galleries, a Children’s gallery, and, a reading area featuring panels from the book, Goodnight Moon. Over 1,000 adults and 1,500 children take classes during the year.
